AYURVEDIC FACIAL TREATMENT
Our face mirrors and echoes our inner being and our state of health. Modern day skin products may provide us with a convenient solution, but cannot offer the benefits of a freshly prepared, purely organic experience of an Ayurvedic Facial Treatment. AFT considers your constitutional energy according to the Tri-Dosha principle.
Your facial prescription will be freshly prepared following a brief ayurvedic analysis of your symptom. Using ayurvedic facial mapping, tongue and pulse diagnosis, the ayurvedic beauty consultant will hand select from a wide variety of herbs, spices, ayurvedic oils with additional natural ingredients (from crushed rose petals and instantly picked aloe juice straight from the plant to neem, gotu kola, sandalwood, venivel and kokum pothu).
A bespoke aryurvedic facial formula...
A unique, individually tailored prescription of active ayurvedic herbal and fruit ingredients are applied to the face and neck following a gentle and soothing ayurvedic facial massage. All facial formulas are hygienically hand blended with a selected base ingredient of milk, honey or gee (clarified butter) according to consultation.
Clients can choose to have a unique blend, or simply select from the Ayurvedic Facial Menu.

Dietary and lifestyle advice is given with each consultation. During treatment, specific ayurvedic massage and energy healing techniques are applied stimulating marma points by hand, expelling impurities from both mind and body.

AYURVEDIC COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE

Ayurvedic Cosmetic Acupuncture is regular cosmetic acupuncture with the additional benefits of Ayurveda! It unites Chinese acupuncture with the excellent cleansing properties of Ayurvedic herbs enhancing the cosmetic effect of the treatment, making it an extremely powerful and focussed cosmetic beauty technique.
The treatment involves the application of thin gold plated needles being inserted into selected energetic acupuncture and marma points on the face and body.
Ayurvedic Cosmetic Acupuncture will detox the skin and kick start the healing process from within, as well as address any underlying medical issues which relate to your facial health. This treatment works on enhancing the quality of your circulating blood, fluid and energy; restoring your mind and senses, which then finds its way towards making a lasting imprint on your face.
Consultation:
- Discussion of your cosmetic needs with tongue, pulse diagnosis and facial mapping.
- Specific acupuncture points will be selected and needles applied to the face (including key points on the body).
- An external application of ayurvedic herbal pastes (unique to your dosha and condition) will be applied for 15min whilst marmamassage is applied to head, scalp, hands and feet.
- Ayurvedic herbal prescriptions will be given to promote internal cleansing and to shed accumulated toxins from the body.
- Dietary and lifestyle advice will be given from the first treatment and reassessed continually.
A recommended cycle of 12 sessions are prescribed and the results are immediate and long lasting. Treatment cycles can be repeated as many times as required, and can also be tailored for maintenance purposes.
